Pain Management Specialist: Dr. Hyon Schneider

Dr. Hyon Schneider is a board certified and fellowship-trained pain management specialist. Her areas of expertise include: physical medicine and rehabilitation, interventional pain, sports medicine, and electro-diagnostic medicine. She is one of the few doctors in the greater Baltimore and Harford County area who brings expertise in Botox treatments for patients with intractable migraines and spasticity. She is a compassionate person who pays detailed attention to her patients’ pain in the context of life function.

Dr. Schneider speaks English, Spanish, and Korean fluently. When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys playing the piano, and spending time with her family.

  • She has numerous publications including journal articles and book chapters on the topics of rehabilitation medicine and pain management.
  • Dr. Schneider’s research experience includes a multi-center clinical trial for regenerative therapy using platelet rich plasma (PrP) at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
